Welcome to Agilion ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Realtime Planning Poker application ("App").

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Agilion is designed with privacy in mind. We do NOT collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to:

  • Names or email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Physical addresses
  • IP addresses
  • Device identifiers
  • Location data
  • Financial information

3. Information We Collect

To provide the planning poker functionality, we temporarily process:

  • Display Names: User-provided nicknames (not real names) used only to identify participants within a planning session
  • Room Codes: Randomly generated session identifiers
  • Vote Selections: Story point votes made during planning sessions

All of this data is ephemeral and is automatically deleted when the planning session ends or expires. No data is persisted beyond the active session.

4. How We Use Information

The temporary session data is used solely to:

  • Enable real-time synchronization between participants
  • Display votes and calculate estimation statistics
  • Manage room participants during active sessions

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any information to third parties. Session data is only visible to other participants within the same planning room.

6. Data Retention

Session data is retained only for the duration of the planning session. Rooms and all associated data are automatically purged after a period of inactivity (typically 24 hours or when all participants leave).

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the integrity of active sessions. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/WSS protocols.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The App is intended for use by agile team members in professional settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
